You’re at the showcase and the band takes the stage!

Up first is a large band size and a Motown classic, “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. This video highlights the 10-piece Band with a 3-horn section, 2 vocalists, guitar, bass, keyboard, percussion, and drums. A full horn section is a sure-fire way to impress your guests with a memorable evening and take the dance floor to the next level!

The song ends and the crowd goes wild!

FAQ: What does the band typically wear?

We’ll dress up for YOUR wedding in any style you request so that we elevate your evening both sonically and visually. We’re pros at dressing for any occasion: suits and ties, cocktail dresses, flannel for your barn wedding, beach attire, or formal wear for your black tie bash!

Let’s keep the energy going with a Top 40 tune, “Shut Up & Dance” by Walk The Moon:

FAQ: What style of music do you play?

You’ve heard us play Motown and Top 40, but we can play anything from Classic Rock to 80s throwbacks and current chart toppers. This next video shows “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. Classic Rock will have everyone throwing their hands up and singing along.

Pro Tip: A variety of music will help ensure all your guests, from your grandparents to your 6-year old niece, have a great time!

Next, we might highlight a different genre of music.

Lately, we are getting a lot of requests from the 90s and 00s and we love playing them! A few popular requests are “I Want It That Way” by the Backtreet Boys, “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers, and “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls. We also love R&B hits from this era, like “No Scrubs” by TLC and “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan. We have so many favorites, but one that is always a crowd-pleaser is “No Diggity” by Blackstreet:

FAQ: Is the band size adjustable?

Of course! Whether you’re hosting an intimate backyard soirée or a 500+ guest event, we have you covered! This next video demonstrates the variety of choices we offer when it comes to band size and what those options actually look and sound like, from a 3-piece band to an unstoppable 14-piece band. This next video shows our 10-piece Band performing “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. As always, we are here to help you determine what the best fit might be for your event if you’re unsure.p class='sansSerif'>

p class='sansSerif'>We’ll highlight another small band configuration next. Here’s a 6-piece Band with “At Last” by Etta James.

FAQ: Can you provide music for our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour, too?

Yes! Not only can we rock the dance floor, but we pride ourselves on being able to provide the perfect musical atmosphere for the most elegant moments of your wedding. We are all highly trained musicians and adept at a number of styles, including classical and jazz, so we can cover all of your music needs. We offer options including solo piano, classical guitar, a full string quartet for your Ceremony, or a jazz trio for your Cocktail Hour.

FAQ: What might the music sound like for our Ceremony?

Have a song you’ve always dreamed of walking down the aisle to? Whether it’s a moving Classical piece, an acoustic version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”, a string quartet arrangement of your favorite Beatles song, or a piano rendition of “Perfect”, we've got you covered! Below is an example of a Duo performing “Canon in D” by Johann Pachelbel:

Your Ceremony has ended, there isn’t a dry eye in the room, and your guests are thirsty!

As everyone makes their way to Cocktail Hour, we’ll be ready with lively background music. We can perform jazz standards and instrumental versions of Motown, pop, and rock songs during this time. This is our Jazz trio with the timeless classic “There Will Never Be Another You” by Chet Baker:

Now back to the party!

When it comes to the Reception, we keep the energy up all night and the dance floor packed!

Pro Tip: We like to start with a song from the 60s or 70s, which we find helps get guests of all ages on the dance floor earlier in the evening to warm things up.

This is our 11-piece Band performing “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner:

Without taking a break, we'll keep everyone moving with “Crazy In Love” by Beyoncé.

Next, we might go right into “Uptown Funk”, by Bruno Mars. Every year we add new songs to our repertoire based on requests, and Bruno, Lizzo, and Beyoncé songs are currently at the top of that list!

Pro Tip: If you have a special request, just ask your Producer. It may already be on our setlist or we’ll do our best to learn it!

FAQ: What happens when the band needs to take a quick break between sets?

All of our Reception Bands come with a complimentary DJ playlist service for band breaks. This is also a great opportunity to hear some of your favorite songs that may not work as well live.

Pro Tip: We can put together a set based on requests or you can send us a full playlist!

FAQ: What are some great songs to end the reception in a memorable way?

For events and Showcases, we LOVE to end with a bang. A high-energy finale will keep your guests talking about the party for weeks to come. “24K Magic”, “Come on Eileen”, “Wagon Wheel”, “Get Lucky”, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “All You Need Is Love”, “Shout”. There are so many good options to choose from! Without fail, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston gets everyone on the dance floor and singing along until the last note.

Thank you for following along with us!

We hope this gave you a vision of what the band has to offer, the variety of our music selection, and the unique energy that live music brings to any party. If you have any questions or would like a formal quote, please don’t hesitate to reach out and discuss with one of our producers. We look forward to hearing from you!
